Billy and Charlie carry a set of gothic letters in pewter. (http://www.billyandcharlie.com/). The letters don't seem to be on their website, but you should be able to e-mail them. I'm not aware of anyone that is doing letters in a metal that would be more appropriate for a collar.

Most of the collars that I am familar with have a repeating letter or motif instaed of spelling out words. I'd be interested to know more about the collar that you are looking to copy.

Mitake.

I looked at Albion's page, and those collars are lovely, but i can't afford to spend that much on a costume accessory. I wanted to get one (or make one) for my student that said "discipulus" ("student" in latin) on it, but the price came out to over three hundred dollars! Does anyone know of a less pricey resource for the letters and the trefoil ring? The rest I can make myself.

I got ahold of billyandcharlie.com, and their pewter letters were much more suited to my purposes, both in style and price ($.50 each vs Albion's $12.00!). I'm ordering some soon, and I'll let you all know how the project comes out.

For anyone who's interested, I got the letters from billyandcharlie.com, and finished the collars this past weekend. I was able to do both collars for a little under $30.00, so not too shabby. If anyone wants pics, email me, and I'll send them when I get them taken.

Thomas,

I'd love to see some pics of your collars. Your email seems to be inaccessible, could you email the pics to me at vila@comcast.net ?

Thanks!
