jumping the packbasket subject from the 'haversacks' thread....

Actually, I'd really like to get a basket like this:

the image is from Das Hausbuch der Mendelschen Zwolfbruderstiftung, and the man was listed as a 'huhnertrager' (I've got the exact year listed at home, if anyone wants to know, but it is 15th cent.). I want a basket with a chicken cage on the bottom!

Watch out for the chicken in the packbasket, or you could wind up with a dirty doublet!
