I remember reading a post that you were looking to assemble a field kitchen. Check out www.cabelas.com in their camping/ dutch oven section they have the nice African cast iron pots for about half the price I've seen them anywhere else. I also have a good local source for used tinned copper ware for pretty
cheap. If you're interested I can check out what they have in stock.

Jamie got my big "cistern" pot for me. It is cylindrical must hold about 2 gallons. Makes enough hot water in one go for several people to wash up at night.

It's a lovely thing, tinned copper with a hand-forged bale handle.It was also ridiculously inexpensive, something like $25-$35.
