We use only Panther Primitives in Les Chevaliers de St. Denys and you can view them at: http://members.xoom.com/bascot/ Mine are the 3 blue and white tents, and any time anything has happened to them, including little monkeys swinging and climbing the ropes)which ripped the top out) they have always fixed them FOR FREE and only charged me shipping. Usual turnaround has been 6 working days!!! (Of course, our tents are 6 - 7 years old and used almost every weekend from May 1st to Oct. 31st.) Sam is working with me on designing a tent with the round eave hoop and no outside ropes or perimeter poles, and no encumbersome spokes. ------------------ Monsieur Geoffrey de Leon

Currently, this year, with the people who have signed on for the Kentucky Horsepark dates, we are supposed to do a War of The Roses time period. However, LAST year it was Agincourt. I am far more comfortable wearing my 1375-1425 segmented globose breast w/bascinet when I am riding a horse because the chainmail fauld bends at the trunk and improves your balance. I can also fight with a sword or pollaxe and drop and roll, etc... with the flexability. When I wear my high polished milanese, Merlin spooks and takes off at a gallop. Without the flexability, I generally fall off at the first sharp turn. Doesn't hurt, but you feel like an idiot and you have to polish alot. So I will probably wear early period when I ride, and when Patty rides I'll be appropriate timewise on the ground. But we have worse timeline clashes than my 50 years. You can't take a blow to the head with a steel mace or pollaxe in a hinged helmet, they won't stand up to it. So we bash mass weapons in 13-14th C. barrel helms. You will see a couple pictures when I upload next week of a 1435-1450 armour with a 1275 barrel helm. Mike complained, but he was the one who forgot the armet! But we also attend "Timelines" where you might camp next to a civil war group on the right and a WWII group on the left. Those shows draw a wide range of spectators.
