Dear Friends,

My book "Secrets of German Medieval Swordsmanship: Sigmund Ringeck's Commentaries on Liechtenauer's Verse" has just gone off to the printers this week. My publisher, Chivalry Bookshelf is now taking pre-orders on the book, which gives the reader the benefit of a 10% discount, as well as free shipping. Delivery of the book is expected in mid to late February.

This book represents about 2 years of study and translation on my part of Ringeck's fechtbuch. Here are some highlights:

- Over 400 glossy pages, hard-bound
- Roughly 800 photographs showing the techniques in step-by-step fashion
- Text includes translations of Liechtenauer's mnemonic verse and Ringeck's commentary on the verse, as well as my own interpretations and observations
- Techniques included for fighting unarmoured with the longsword, sword and buckler, wrestling, fighting in armour on foot with the half-sword, and fighting on horseback
- Foreward by Jörg Bellinghausen
- Glossary, Index, and Appendices
