As some of you may have figured out, Deonne Barger posts here under the names Brenna and Acelynn. On 7-9-02, she made on open offer to place an order for Portuguese saddles for anyone interested. Jeff and I sent her a Money Order via express Mail in August and expected to see a saddle sometime in September or October. To date we still have not received our saddle. Posts to this list requesting an update have gone unanswered. Neither of the 2 email addresses we had for her are good, and it seems that she has moved from the address where we sent her the Money Order. We did find her listed in an SCA equestrian publication, and found a new address and phone for her in an SCA group list. We will be dealing with recovering our money through legal channels but would like to know if anyone else on this list sent money for a saddle and never got it. Defrauding just us is one thing, but defrauding several is quite another. Please contact us directly at historic@pacbell.net if you have been involved in this saddle scam also. Thanks- Jeff & Gwen

Rod-That would be the same person. If you read through some of the old posts on this board you'll see that for a few monthsshe made a career out of badgering Jeff and me to the point where we refused to post. BTW, the "acelynn" email is no longer good. We received the promised refund, along with the following note:

Of course somehow I doubt she'll post that you received a refund or that it came out of my own pocket because that would lose all the drama that she apparently loves to create, LOL.
