hello everybody.
i am new here and i would like some help.
i am trying to build a propane forge but i am getting alot of different information on the internet.
my burner is untested and has a 1/32 in. jet and is made like this.
a 2in to 1 1/4 in. bell reducer into a 1 1/4 in. X 12in. pipe nipple and no flare in the bell reducer is my jet.
i want to know for general knifemaking and blacksmithing wether i should refractory softbrick or kaowool type insulation and what should i do for each type of forge.

also with the desription of my burner what do you think the size of my forge should be?
thank you in advance

Greetings and welcome. I'm certain some people here can answer you, as there are a few fine armorers that use this site, but you may get responses from more people skilled in setting up a gas forge on a specialized armoring site, such as "Armor Archive":

Armorarchive

Luck!
