Hi Jenn - or anybody really,

Is there a way to map individuals to (their participation in) LH groups or vice versa?

You guys who originated this forum or seem to know who goes with what, but it gets really confusing for me - esp with the double name thing. I'm trying to get a picture like "Axeman is George Smith and he belongs to The Order of Red RidingHood which is a 15th century group operating in South Dakota".

I can map certain people to Red Company or Wolfe Argent - but beyond that I'm clueless.
Are there tools to do that here, or are there past posts I should look for?

Thanks

Gordon

Medieval Anne-Marie is modern Anne-Marie Rousseau
belongs to LaMaisnie, a 15th century civilian group re-enacting the household staff and servants of Antoine le Grand Batard de Bourgogne. Much SCA overlap, since thats pretty much the only game in town (for now )
Based in Seattle WA

Thanks Anne-Marie. That's one down, 350 or so to go...

Not that I will remember or anything, but I guess if people who wanted to replied to this thread then I could refer to it for reference...

Red Company - 1471
15th C. pre/post Ordinance Company

Hauptmann - Jeff Hedgecock, Maitre of the Company

Ginevra - Gwen Nowrick, Jeff's wife, Maitre's wife or mistress, depending on the time of day.

RonM - Ron Moen, also known as "Gunner"

Grey - George Howe, RedCo's Colorado adjunct. Archer.

jsmart - Don Frazier, RedCo's New Mexico adjunct. Archer.

That's really the only RedCo. people who post here. If I'm forgetting anyone I'm sure they'll let me know.

Hey Gwen, Don't I rate?

It would be useful if people included their affiliations on their profile pages - that would be the easiest way to make that information handy.

You can look at our profiles, but here's my contribution to clearing up "Who's Who"

Jeff Johnson is Jeff Johnson, who is kinda in "Men of Codnor" AKA Wolfe's company, but also kinda in LaBelle Company and plays with Men of Warwick and also travels to California a lot and plays with Red company whenever he can (where Anne Marie also shows up ofen as well) as has Captain Jaimie who lives in SC and Chef Bob and Jenn who are the leaders for Wolf Argent and have mustered with Redco and who's group occasionally plays with Codnor and Warwick. Then there's Dru who used to live out west and play with Redco, but has moved East, where he has started playing with Warwick and Codnor. Warwick is now led by Mark, who used to be in Wolfes, which is nominally led by Marco, but Steve tends to run things and posts here as "Wolfes Company".

Clear?

Jeff - you are trying to confuse me aren't you!

I suppose that you could play Seven degrees of Kevin Bacon with LH groups and Jeff.

I am Simon Sweetwood. Halberdier under the Squire Ayres who, in turn, is in the affinity of the Earl of Warwick. Simon served in Calais for three years as well.

I can also be found with Grey of Codnor because they are very cool guys and know their stuff.

P.S> I have often been called intelligent and cute as well- though I doubt I am in Anne-Marie's league.

Hi All, in honour of Gordon's suggestion... I have added a new forum in the NEWS and INFORMATION Section of the site.

Please Read The News & Info section before posting to the new forum. I would like everyone who posts their group there to START A NEW TOPIC and NOT REPLY to ones already posted so that it ends up more like a real directory under each groups name.
