Took the wife and extremely excited kid to see the twilight showing last night. All I can say is, extremely impressive!
When first learning that Toby Maguire received the lead role, I was a bit concerned; but, he turned out to be an excellent Peter Parker (very believable character). The f/x were great, and it's amazing how much better computer generated film is becoming. A real action packed movie (w/the expected amount of violence, and surprisingly little gore). The best performance in the film was definitely delivered by Willem Dafoe (it takes a 'veteran' actor to show 'em all how it's done). The best of all, it actually followed the story in the Marvel comics (although time compressed--for the movie's sake). Quite impressive, worth the price of admission (esp. if you have a junior wall crawler at home!).-------------------- Per Mortem Vinco
