Request you delete this post. This is NOT a Fantasy website.

True, it isn't a fantasy site.....but we've had other LOTR discussion here (eg the "John Howe and LOTR" thread) and this seems at least as relevant.

I'd have said that perhaps it should have been posted in the "Off Topic" category, rather than but not sure I see the logic of requesting this post gets deleted, but not the others.

Sorry, I didn't see this until this morning, even then it didn't register mentally. (Hadn't had my tea yet)

Most folks here have a pure interest in the historical. However, there are some who might find battles in Middle Earth appealing from a curiosity stand point, to those seeking to have fun in a not so serious "Historically inspired" realm.

In keeping with the other LotR topic, which appears under this forum, I have moved "Gondor" to the Off Topic thread, deleting it from the Events forum which is for Historical LH/RE events only. It is keeping with the "spirit" of Off Topic Posts.

AWwwww, C'mon you mean that killing Orcs isn't a medieval past time?????

I'll have to check my 'historical' references (i.e. pre-1980 gaming manuals)HA HA HA

When I posted my prissy little note, this topic was in the "Events" section. The Moderator moved it afterwards.

No objection with it being here, under Off-topic.
