Yup, I'll be there. Provided that I can bribe someone into giving me a ride out and a place to camp (distancing onesself from the local Scadians can have a few detrimental effects). My almost wife Sara should be out on Friday too.

Jon, talk to Jamie as we had already talked to him about the possibility of your camping with his group. He'll be doing a period camp (not SCA period) where AM and I will be holding the "Period Camp Cookery" class.

I will be arriving on the 11th (Red eye flight from S.F.). I'll be with West Kingdom.
I hope that I will have a chance to meet with those of you who will be there. If I don't get lost, that is.

All the best,
Rhys

me! me! me!

I get to go to Pennsic!!!!!!!! I've never been before and I'm more than a little jazzed. I'm teaching a class with Ginevra and singing with the choir and there's a known world cooks schmooze fest and shopping and partying with my friend Aedla who will also be there (camping with some norse folks. no accounting for persona ) and I get to meet a bunch of other folks I've only exchanged emails with, including Christine, and I get to see Jamie and Rookie again, and I get to spend a whole week with the Evil Twin and Mr Evil Twin.

nah, I'm not excited at all....

Folks,
Rookie and I will be there for sure, but Christine may have to stay home due to a 100 page booklet she is designing for the local Arts & Science council. However, she will attend if they don't have all the copy and photos by Pennsic time. I'm crossing my fingers.
BTW, we will be hosting the "Evil Twins" cooking class at our camp. I'm looking forward to showing off my groovy cooking equipment, as well as having Gwen and AM show me how to use it properly.
Cheers,
Jamie

Jamie says- "we will be hosting the "Evil Twins" cooking class"

Wait a minute! Jeff and I are the Evil Twins, and you and AM are the Nice Twins. So you're hosting the Twin's Cooking class, but since Jeff isn't teaching, it can't be the Evil Twins class.

In any case I can't wait to see your groovy cooking stuff. Do you have a flesh hook or do I need to bring mine?

I too can bring some (smaller) toys to play with...we'll have a list of the equipment we'd like to use as soon as we hash out which recipes we think enthusiastic but not particularily skilled labor can handle in the limited time alloted .

this will be very fun. Thanks for hosting us, Jamie!

--AM, who's sad she might not get to meet the infamous Christine....

Gwen,
No, I don't have a flesh hook. The only thing else I think you have that I don't is a dutch oven for frying. Would the Townsend lidded iron kettle work for that ? Come to think of it, that's the only lidded pot I have. Maybe I'll try to knock out a couple lids for my copper pots between now and then.
Cheers,
Jamie
