The Historic Camelot Project is in the process of forming a 14c Living History Group - The Compainie of the Northerne Sterre to compliment our educational programs.

I want to introduce our newest member - BARD. Our 16.2hh Clydesdale gelding.

He begins his joust training (along with our Percheron/Belgian Mare, Sunny, that we bought last November) as soon as the snow and mud go away (enough for us to practice).

Cheers!

Slowly. We have scaled back our time frame and are now pretty much concentrating on getting sufficient props and persons for our educational presentations for the nonprofit.

We definitely still plan on opening the museum/village - but we are going to need a great deal of corporate support and grant money to do it - both of which is now lacking.

Baby steps (I have to keep telling myself)...

Hello Lloyd, I may be interested in joining your group.I dont joust, but have spent time around horses, I may be able to fullfill the role of flunky LOL. As a side note, My wife saw something on TV about a group building a castle in France, using ancient methods. I think she said there were 50 workers, some paid, most volenteers. Might get some help from the history or archeology dept of a University....Otto
