So, has anyone on this board seen it? I read the reviews on the other board and now I can't wait to see it.

As an aside, I think it's funny that people still refer to "Army of Darkness", although I'm getting used to it. When Jeff and I first got together, I wanted him to hide Evil Ash's helmet because it was "embarrassing" and "not serious".

Then I grew up and learned the purpose of COSTUMES..... Now Ash's helmet occupies a prominent position in our office, and I'm really rather proud that I'm married to the man that created it.

I have! Very amusing. Please don't go expecting authenticity. It isn't. But to modern music, the film is entertaining.

The best description from a friend is that it's a cross of WWF and better RenFaire tilting.

PS. There is a movie clip surprise after the credits...

I saw it Friday night. It was fun. As long as you don't expect a medieval movie and certainly no authenticity. You can't help but smile when the music plays. I missed the movie clip though I think I'll see it again. (Not just for the movie clip )
I like the counts lances. Instead of a regular blunt end, they have little fists on them.

Hooboy, now I know I HAVE to see it.

Watched LadyHawke again for the umpteenth time. Uninspired costumes, weird "armour", uninspired Alan Parsons soundtrack.

I still cried when she says "I am sorrow".

Another schlocky movie- I can't wait!!!

It's schlocky, WITH awesome action scenes! Even the armour, while pulled from a ~200 year period, is at least documentable: no fantasy stuff. At last, another movie to add to the list of movies with descent lance passes (the only other REALLY good one is the 1953 "Ivanhoe")

Gallop, don't trot, to see this one.
