hello,
i have some questions on bell wedge pavilions. when were these pavilions/tents used?
were they used only by the french or could a late 14th c german have one? and do you know of any instructions on how to make them or a cheap place to buy one?

Wilhelm, I have the same question. I'm going to try to do a late 14th and late 15th cent portrayal. If I can get a "one size fits all"tent it would be very cost effective. I think they were used all over western europe in the 15th cent, but havnt found much evidence for late 14th. One good source for purchase is Panther Lodges.Their website is www.pantherlodges.com.I've seen the tents and they are well constructed,and look great. The prices are very reasonable in my opinion.....Otto
