I've had a question about the use of painted textiles (specifically linen) in the 15th C. I know that tents and silk pennons, flags and banners were painted, but was painted linen used for any reason?

Line was widely painted, several of the Flemish Masters paintings are on linen rather than wooden boards.

Also as you say with silk, flags and badges could be on linen just as much, if not more so, than silk.
