Peder-

How could I find a copy of this book?

Dawson, Warren R., ed. and trans., A Leechbook or Collection of Medical Recipes of the Fifteenth Century (London: Macmillan, 1934).

Thanks-

Gwen

Hi Ginevra,

Addall listed 14 copies when I typed in the authors name. I just realized you may have meant a copy as in to take oout of a library. Sorry if what I wrote is not what you want.

I'm not sure what happened to the response I posted yesterday, so I'll try it again...

Actually, I was thinking of buying the book for our Red Copmpany herbalist if it was appropriate. I hesitate to buy it if it isn't. If you have access to it, could you take a look and tell me what you think of it? I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

Thanks for the synopsis! Since Godlief is not a physician, this sounds perfect. I'll track it down and see what it will set me back.

Thanks for your help and the other item you sent earlier.
