Hi Jamie,Sorry for taking so long to answer you, but I've been busier than a one armed paper hanger this week.
The Promised Lands is a great book, and it covers up to the time you are interested in. That said, it is more of a book about the Low Countries and their government, and their interaction with the Valois Dukes and their successors - it really doesn't go into military aspects of Maxamilians campaigns (didn't he fight Guingate in 1478 or 79? - The Lord of Chanterain, conductour of the company that Wolfe Argent portrays a chambre of defended St. Omer against Louis XI in 1478. in either case, Maximilians involvement was prior to 1482...)
I have never seen in print any work devoted to the military campaigns of the Hapsburgs in the Low Countries in their bid to keep their Valois territory brought by Maxamilians marriage to Mary of Burgundy. De Commines in his "Memoires" devotes some small space to it, from the French perspective - but one must be cautious in taking his words at face value - he had an axe to grind, and Louis reputation to spruce up.
If you want to learn more about the Low Counties "The Promised Lands" is your book. If you want a military history, you will have to look elsewhere.
