You might be able to take photos, just not flash variety. Also it is a special exhibition.Their Hours page doesn't say anything about photography. -------------------- ad finem fidelis

The word on the street (from Ohioans on the AOTC list) is that they are NOT allowing photos of this exhibit. However, there is a very nice exhibit book that can be bought for probably a big sum of money. (hmm. Good Christmas present. Hint hint!) 'Cause we didn't buy enough books in London. -Charlotte

The museum was closed on the 23rd due to inclement weather, so we stopped on our way back instead. It's only going for another week, but if people can make it, I would suggest it. It's a great exhibit. I'm particularly fond of the late 14th/early 15th century, and was very excited to see some manuscripts that I've only had the opportunity to see online. As I was standing there looking at them, it just HURT though, knowing all of the images were before me, yet still out of reach. I was aching to just turn the pages! Indeed, they did not allow photographs, but did have a very thick catalog available for $55. We picked one up, and I would recommend checking their online store for a copy, if this period is of interest. Unfortunately, the photos don't do justice to the objects or the manuscripts, but there's a lot of background info. While we were there, we visited the rest of the museum's medieval collection, which is quite nice. They have an amazing enameled women's belt. The DO allow pictures in the rest of the museum, but no flash. Although, they do not allow cameras in the armour gallery - apparently there's a book they'd rather sell you. Cheers! Charlotte
