I have the stff that i was gonna use for Regia. i could do norman, i'm not opposed to doing templar either.Who is in Tn and Ga? How many folks there? I like sallets! that'd be great. :P Looked at the site I'm assuming that Red Co/ Wolfe Argetnt standards are roughly the same. IE historic enterprises clothes pass? hey Brent, am i one of those lone wolves if you manage to make it down to south FL, there are a couple of people i play with and have even manage to head up to the time line events up in GA and are currently contacting another event in the St. pete/tampa area. we also have some non-traditional LH events that we attend locally (i.e. ren fairs, we use the events for recruitment and also to break in the newer members that may not have all the correct kit, yet still want to play with us w/o detracting from a tru LH or timeline event.) oops, forgot to answer your question about HE. some items pass but most of our clothing we make ourselves. daniel [ 01-13-2004: Message edited by: LHF ] -------------------- Db D'rustynail

Scott, I would stay "domestic" given current circumstances above. The general consensus amongst the groups is that HE is perfectly acceptable. Also, I believe HE is going to be offering updated clothing designs. Gwen, please correct me if I have misinterpreted anything. Further discussion about clothing standards should be addressed in a different Forum. Thanks, Jenn [ 01-22-2004: Message edited by: Fire Stryker ] -------------------- ad finem fidelis

Hey, no need to consider mods to new HE doublets. Gwen has modified the design and among the changes are a raise the waist & lowing of the points. I tried one on a few days ago. Along with bias-cut twill hosen that makes them better too. If you really want to lower the points some more, she'd mentioned customizing them. However, the even lower points will turn the hosen into hip-huggers - likely to fall if unsupported by doublets. (but even more period, IMHO) [ 01-24-2004: Message edited by: Jeff Johnson ] -------------------- Geoffrey Bourrette Man At Arms

Here are instructions for Modifying HE doublet and Hosen. This retrofit leaves and extra set of unused eyelets mid peplum. This retrofit is NOT acceptable for Red Co. standards. And here is a suplier that the COSG uses out of Italy This company offers shirts in cotton only, and lines garments in cotton. Cotton is not an acceptable fabric for Red Company use. Further discussion about clothing standards should be addressed in a different Forum. http://www.wolfeargent.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=7&t=000292 Gwen
