In Athens, GA, May 25-26 (Sunday and Monday) there will be a multi-period timeline set up. We've got Romans and high middle ages (Novae Militiae), but are quite short on everything else up to the American Revolution. If anyone would be interested in coming, email me. I know this is rather short notice, but...

And with NOT as much short notice, The Atlanta History Center (my place of employment) will also be hosting a multi-period timeline on the property on Sunday September 7, 2003. Again, except for Romans and High Middle Ages, we're currently quite short of groups up to RevWar, so if you think you could make it (one or two folks is perfectly acceptable, assuming your kit and interpretive abilities are good), please email me.

Also, if anyone is interested in attending these events as patrons, please come! Email me for directions, etc.

Thanks,

Glen

Hello Glen, I've recently had alot of surgery, procedures, done to my back, its still pretty rotten. So I cant go to the May event, but hopefully I'll be in good enough shape to come to the Sept. event.I'm in Alabama, so its not really that far. Please post more info as it becomes available.I have some accurate late 14th cent clothing from HE and should have a good harness by then from the same. I also have a decent late 15th cent German Gothic, but need to get cloting and gear to go with it.Let me know what would be best, to help with the presentation. Thanks,James" Otto" D.

hello,

ok, i know that the Michealmass event has overshadowed this one, but is anyone else heading to Atlanta?

Glen, i've allready sent the confirmation to Lanna. we will see you there.

just curious if anyone from Gesellschaft zum Constaffel be interested in swinging by. wouldn't mind meeting some other folks from the south that we may be able to play with.

Daniel,
If my horseless carriage problems are sorted out by then, I'd love to come down and meet you lot. It's only about 4 hours away. Unfortunatly, I've not a full kit as of yet. So, I can only participate in a tourist capacity.

Yes I should....

HEY EVERYBODY!!!

Come on down to the Military Timeline, being held at the Atlanta History Center on September 7. Though not as large as an MTT or MTA, I think our first year will turn out great. As a matter of fact, if it DOES turn out well, the odds are great that we WILL have an MTA/MTT scale event next fall.

There will, of course, be lots of pictures.

Directions: http://www.atlantahistorycenter.com/planyourvisit/html/wherearewe.htm

Thanks!

hey Glen,

i want to thank you again for the invite. we had an increadible time up there and we are allready thinking about next year. i hope the figures are good and we can have a two day event for the next fall. also keep me in the loop if there is another timeline in athens for memorial day next year.

by the by let me know if there are any good photos of our camp.

NOTICE: do not, DO NOT, let the swiss touch any fine burgundian craftmanship. they will without a doubt break and mangle it in their zeal to come into contact with such finery.

I enjoyed it as well, and looking forward to next year. Next year though I will definately participate and give the Burgundians something to shoot at. I must say in my own defence, if they had just handed it over proper, nothing would have been molested and thus broken Your a nutter Daniel can't wait till our next meeting, Viva la Suisse!
