It looks like I will be moving to Pennsylvania in the spring and I was wondering if I might get a list of all of the 14th and 15th century groups that hold events and where they are located. I know of some of them, but would like a somewhat more comprehensive list. A trip to California for a Red Company event will be unlikely, except for once in a great while, and my cannon will be problematic.

Thanks

Dru, BUDDY!

The authenticity-oriented 15th C. groups on the East coast are:

- Wolf Argent, Burgundian (your hosts, here - Bob & Jenn Reed) Centered in New Hampshire/Mass

- Men of Warwick, War of the Roses, Centered in MD/VA

- Wolfes Company (AKA House of Codnor), also War of the Roses in MD/VA.

All three groups play together to varying degrees - have had joint camps and are planning more. Since you are an old campaigner with RedCo, you could probably do well in any of the groups. With proper gear, you could turn out with any of us as convienient.

I'll send you details on MOW & WolfCo. I'm sure Bob or Jenn will supply info on Argent.

Edit - forgot 14th Century.

For 14th Century, the "good" group is LaBelle Compagnie, English Household of 1392. Also centered in MD/VA. I can supply contact info on them too.

Jeff

And if you want some east coast events where you can see all three of the MidAtlantic groups, you should try

MTA (Military thru the Ages): March 16-17 this year in Jamestown VA, which is well worth the drive. If you are in the area by this event, it is highly recommended.

MTT (Marching thru Time): sometime in mid April, at Marietta Mansion in/near Lanham, MD (DC suburbs). MTT is smaller than MTA and much more laid back. The MoW often do other time periods for MTT, but LaBelle and Wolfe's Co are usually there.

Hi Dru! There are a bunch of us in PA and southern NJ. I live about 40 miles west of Philadelphia. Where will your new digs be located?
