Medieval Swordplay with John Waller Tuesday, 5/1/2001 - Wednesday, 5/2/2001 7:00PM - 9:30PM, 7:00PM - 9:30PMHiggins Armory Museum, 100 Barber Ave., Worcester, MA $45 museum members, $60 nonmembers John Waller, Head of Interpretation at the Royal Armouries Museum, England, will be giving hands-on workshops on medieval sword combat. Mr. Waller, internationally familiar from the videos 'Masters of Defence' and 'How a Man Schal Be Armyd' as well as from the History Channel program 'Arms in Action', is one of the world’s leading figures in the reconstruction of historical martial arts. He will be assisted by his son Jonathan Waller, himself an internationally known fight choreographer, and by Andrew Deane, Senior Interpreter at the Royal Armouries. Enrollment is limited. Hi Sir Dan,It's the first Saturday of every month we do our demo, although there is the occasional exception. I hope you can make it out some time, we could point out some of the more interesting pieces. We usually have civilians as well, and goodies other than metal suits - if your wife has any interest in medieval crafts or that sort of thing. -------------------- Bob R.
