The way I see this, we have at least the following Firestryker people planning to be at Pennsic:Jeff Gwen Geoffrey de Lyon Robert de Tyre Kieran Macleod Mike Tartaglio Jon Androsky Jamie & Christine Madison I'd like to suggest a Firestryker Wine & Cheese Social for one night. We can have it at our "house", and invite other like minded folks, like the La Belle people, Mac & Marianne (McPherson), John Vernier, Talbot, etc. I volunteer the place and the munchies. Anyone want to come, or suggest a night? (I'm thinking Tuesday) Gwen

Hi all,Bob Here - we had a lightning strike that fried the modem on my computer so I'm working off Jenn's. Just an "after action report". The Seventh annual Higgins fair went off without a hitch for us, despite everything going wrong that possibly could for Jenn and I the week leading up to it (culminating with the lightning strike the day before). We had two arming demonstrations, a table of 15th c. artifacts, and we did two halberd drills that were interactive with the public, and were very well recieved. The future relationship between our company and the Museum is very promising. ------------------ Easily distracted by bright shiney things.

Gwen: Monday evening would be lovely. My lady wife and I will be there, and probably Geoffrey de Leon and his lady Johanna le Marechal. I can speak for him (he's camping with us, anyway)...of course, the lucky sod's off sunning himself in Florida with his lady this week. What type of wine should we bring? Folks, I was wondering if anyone who's going to be camping at Pennsic might be able to set aside some room for me, my wife Christine, and my 2nd in command, Rookie, to pitch our tents. We aren't involved with an SCA group, so we do the single camping thing at Pennsic, but last year we ended up camping 30 minutes away from everything. It made it rough if you forgot something in camp. Also, it would be nice to not be surrounded by modern tents, sun-showers, and lawn furniture. If anyone could help out I would be eternally grateful. We would be willing to pitch in with camp chores, beer and ice runs, etc. Thanks-Jamie
