Hi Dan,Missed seeing you at the Higgins today! I like them very much. Any reason why this person changed their mind regarding the gauntlets finish? Seems logical to me that a munition piece would more logically be black, -------------------- Bob R.

well i'm back in 90 degree weather! won't keep working on them till this fri or monday of next week.thanks for the comments. as far as the finish he hasn't made up his mind yet on it. i'll be making a pair of chains and couters for him and he just doesn't know if he wants them all to be black or a bit of mis-matched. i still have to finish planishing and smoothig up the gauntlets before they are finished. i'll prolly present them to him that way and if he still wants them white i can polish them later. the customer is always right i do have some questions about the details. we've been going back and forth as to what if any kind of leathers should it have. should it just have straps? a three fingered glove attached? or five fingered with scale? he's a billman and my suggestion is either just strapped or a three fingered glove. what do y'all think? thanks, daniel -------------------- Db D'rustynail
