Does anyone know where to get the hard foam hockey insert that is in
the pic near the bottom? I've got some leather gloves I just need
the pads to put in them. http://www.geocities.com/guthroth99/intro.html
If noone knows where to get the pads, does anyone know where to get some decent gloves relativly cheep?
Thanks for any Help!
Sceotan.

Sorry, but this is not within the purview of this forum. We only discuss historical armour here. I don't want to be a pain, so you have my apologies. Just need to keep folks informed.

Are you planning to use padded gloves for weapons training? If so, perhaps you could fashion a pair of mittens made up of linen padded with layers of wool. Not sure if this would have been used in the 15th Century, but it would be a better alternative than hockey glove inserts.

Sorry for the mistake I didn't know. A friend of mine who has some extra thick vegy tanned leather is stitching it to the back of some work gloves and padding between with rabbit fur so I've solved the problem and pretty period aswell. The gloves are for Vik Age live-steel use.
