I already posted this on the Armour Archive but here goes....

This is what I've been working on lately. The sallet is raised from one piece of 14g mild steel. It still needs more planishing and polishing as well as final refinement of the shape. It's nearly finished though.

Super Job Michael,

I think you have capured the overall shape very well. Any head-on views to seer the side bulges at the skull?

WOW, BTW when you say raised do you mean worked completely from the outside with no sinking at all?

Otto, this isn't my first attempt at raising. I've done a couple of sallets before this one.
