Hi everybody,
I'm at the moment actively looking for any archaeological remains of 14th or 15th c. leather gloves, either civilian or military. Does anyone know something about published drawings, photos, notes, etc...? I ever have some infos about fragments excavated in France, but nothing sufficient to begin a reconstruction.
Any help welcome...
From Périgord,
Gascoing.

Not having a copy, yet...

Would the Museum of London (MOL) series with Wearing/Clothing Accessories have anything?

The MoL books have nothing. I have heard, but only indirectly, that the archeological excavations at Dordrecht yielded a great quantity of leather finds, and I have become curious to find out more about their holdings. The new book Stepping Through Time is based on shoes from those digs. Does anyone know more about any holdings in Dordrecht?
