I was just perusing the net, and came across the site for Medieval Arms and Armor in Australia. The URL is: http://members.iinet.net.au/~morrisrh/index.html#links
I just wonder, his items look quite nice, and the prices (with current exchange) are fantastic.

OK OK forget I asked...still has a nice mace and warhammer.

Since you are asking on this forum, I assume you are asking if it looks good enough for reenacting. I'd say it looks far to SCA-ish. i.e. "Interpretations" of period equipment. He probably COULD make reenactor grade, but not much on the website would work for reenacting.

The question is, if an armorer is used to doing such interpretations, could you trust him not to do so if you ordered an reproduction? A corner cut here, a change there, & pretty soon you end up with something totally inauthentic.

Thanks for the info. The only items he really had were helms and gauntlets. The morion is what had me thinking. I appreciate the help.

No, not even for SCA use - IMNSHO the page doesn't look poory researched, it looks chintzy.

One sound and a word.

Uh...no
