Who's seen a copy of "RECORD OF EUROPEAN ARMOUR AND ARMS THROUGH SEVEN CENTURIES"?

I understand it's one of the best references for Armor. Do you think it's worth $550 for a reprint?

JeffJ,
The reprint of Laking for $550 will definately be worth it, considering that original copies average in the $2000 range, when they are available. Although the text is somewhat dated, Laking's "Record of European Armour and Arms Through seven Centuries" contains a fabulous wealth of photos of armour and weapons, a lot of which are not published elsewhere. When I was in college, I spent a lot of Saturdays in the art library reading their original copy of Laking. I eagerly await the arrival of my reprint.

Zanetto-
Have you heard anything recently about the re-prints? I countacted Richard and Ros very early in their announcements about the re-print, but haven't heard anything from them about it in quite some time (except that it's been published in their last few catalogs).

James,
I got my latest Trotman catalogue a few weeks ago. They have a blurb in there stating that production is now taking place and that they hope to have it out before the end of the year.
By the way, how is the Stothard project coming along?
