This is the equestrian bibliography that the Company of the Wolfe Argent uses as references for research into various aspects of the equestrian culture of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Members are not required to read everything, however, those that pursue equestrian portrayals should be familiar with the concepts of medieval equitation and equipment for interacting with the public. Some of these books are available in our primary bookstore . We also have selected material in our International amazon stores in France and the United Kingdom. Selected ReadingMediaeval & Renaissance HorsemanshipThis section relates to all things related to horses from saddles and tack to veterinary and guild practices to military operations and equestrian sports in the Middle Ages and early Renaissance.
