My sister sent me these this morning and I just had to share-

Some points to ponder

Love is grand; divorce is a hundred grand.
~~~~~~~~
I am in shape. Round is a shape.
~~~~~~~~
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.
~~~~~~~~~
Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic.
~~~~~~~~~
Conscience is what hurts when everything else feels so good.
~~~~~~~~
Talk is cheap because supply exceeds demand.
~~~~~~~
Even if you are on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.
~~~~~~
Politicians and diapers have one thing in common. They should both be changed regularly and for the same reason.
~~~~~~~~
An optimist thinks that this is the best possible world. A pessimist fears that this is true.
~~~~~~~~~
There will always be death and taxes; however, death doesn't get worse every year.
~~~~~~~~

Brought to you by a resident of the United States' only 3rd world possession!!

California of course! Home of the rolling black out, clearly defined but as clearly denied caste system and a majority of residents who don't speak a word of English.

With the exception of the rolling blackouts, you could be talking about South Florida. But here, we have people who can't read/comprehend a ballot, riots in the streets over a minor's residence, and a definite caste system.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

It was quite a shock when I moved from Wellington to Jacksonville.

I went from a subtropical very ethnically broken up community to one that is a southern temperate zone that pretty much seems like southern Georgia. Odd that. What stinks the most is I can't get my hands on good Cuban bread anymore.

Hehe, California is a great example of why sometimes deregulation is not quite as effective as hoped....
