Peder-

Do you know anything about these 2 books? I often see them referred to, but can't seem to track them down anywhere.

Des cleres et nobles femmes
Le livre des cleres et nobles femmes

Thanks-

Gwen

Hi Gwen,
I found this one under AddAll.com. I do not know if it is the same one you are looking for. I didn't find "Le Livre..."

1. Boccaccio's Des cleres et nobles femmes : systems of signification in an illuminated manuscript

$34.00 @ Alibris(sp?)

http://www.addall.com/used

Title: Des cleres et nobles femmes

I had it on a strict search. Sometimes Loose yields more results. Also, the author of the book might yield the greatest results and that is usually how I search, by Author's last name.

Hope this helps,

Jenn

I've seen this work cited as a reference for women in armour, that's why I'm interested in it. Did you notice any illos? If so, can you give me any specifics? Is it worth buying?
