Hi All,

I just recieved in the mail Graham Turners new cataloog. For those of you who don't know, Graham is one of the foremost artists in England painting on the theme of the Wars of the Roses and 15th c. England in General, as well as the occasional foray into other historic periods.

His most recent paintings are "The Battle of Wakefield" , which depicts Richard, Duke of York surrounded and attempting to cut his way to freedom through a throng of the Duke of Somerset's retainers - his Falcon & Fetterlock standard bravely flying in the background. Also new is "Challenge in the Mist", which portrays Richard, Duke of Gloucester and his standard bearer surrounded by fog at the decisive battle of Barnet. They are peering through the mist toward Warwick the Kingmakers lines, and his standard bearer seems to have just caught sight of the enemy, as he is pointing them out to his lord.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Grahams work, he is a stickler for detail regarding harness, costume, and surroundings, as well as day to day objects. His paintings are fantastic - I proudly own an qriginal (Bauge), as well as three of his prints. I can't wait to add these new ones to my collection.

Grahams work can be seen and ordered at

Tell him Bob Reed sent you.
