Joe is the most amazing guy I've ever met. He is 73 years old, had a quintupletbypass surgery, and still gets on his horse in armour at 10:30 AM and gets off at 4:30 PM. He's an old Civil War Re-enactor and is tough as nails. He also stuck around and helped me tear down the tents and load the quintain (100 lbs +) and the eight rings and saracen heads at 60 lbs ea.

Barb, Wayne and Tom. Check out the padded archers' jack and the elk hide thigh boots Barb made. Wayne is working on aquiring leg armour and a salade.

Badge on tabard.

The Lady Johanna le Mareschel riding side saddle in her new dress, finished last week, but lacking period buttons.
I may post different ones later. I don't want to hog too much bandwidth!

Nice pictures

You all look like you had a ball.

Where in this world can man find nobility without pride, friendship without envy, beauty without vanity? Here, where grace is laced with muscle, and strength by gentleness confined. He serves without servility; he has fought without enmity. There is nothing so powerful, nothing less violent; there is nothing so quick, nothing so patient. England's past has been borne on his back. All our history is his industry: we are his heirs, he is our inheritance. Ladies and gentlemen: The Horse! - Robert Duncan's "Tribute to the Horse"

Thank you for sharing Seigneur, I have enjoyed your pictures for a long time.

The gentleman in the first picture, is he mounted on a light colored Belgian or perhaps an American Cream Draft?
