After seeing historic enterprises' standards i decided i need one but can't afford one. is it basicly just a mantle with smaller rings around the neck? is 5mm for the neck and 6mm for the mantle portion OK? i have a picture of a similar item which is a bishops mantle made up of triangles and retangles, are standards made this way?

Thomas,

See if Erik can answer your question. He makes incredible maille, museum quality and has handled and documented pieces from all over the world.

Regards,

Jenn

He replied to my post on the archive but didn't really elaborate on anything in particular. What i'm really looking for is pictures but i hate e-mailing people and asking for them, it seems rude. Great site BTW
