Rondel at St. Patrick's isn't so shabby either - nor are the girls posing for the escort service....

Hi Jenn, Friedrich, Jeff and Adhemar

The second dagger was made by Dutch armourer Klaas Kloosterhuis. His website was to be found at http://home.wanadoo.nl/kkloosterhuis/ but I hear he has taken it offline because he already has so many orders for stuff that he won't need it for a while. What a luxury eh?
Funny thing is, while the main page of his website is 'niet meer beschikbaar' (no langer available) the rest of his site is! http://home.wanadoo.nl/kkloosterhuis/wapenmain.htm
Anyway, when I get home (am at parents house now) I'll look up his e-mail adress and post it here. Also when I get home I am gonna have a look what is wrong with my webserver since the website is down

Friedrich, the picture of the 'under construction' copulating chickens is a picture from the apparantly not so prudish Romance of Alexander (1340-1344)

Honest, I had NO IDEA about the Escort services on that website!(nudge nudge, wink wink).I did pick up one of the swords from them, the Petris I model, which I like very much. The Ballock dagger they offer is a bit above my station, I think.I'm in the market for a simpler one as well.

not to beat this dead horse yet, but..

Tanc posted on the greys board about his new ballock from Talerwin: http://www.talerwin.com/ The blade lenght is 190mm, tha handle is rose wood, the blade is a plain carbon steel that is non-stainless (k1073) Tanc said after shipping to the US from Aus it was under 80 bucks.

Just wondering if this is a good piece for a gentlemen or not. trying to find a dagger that best suits me and my wallet (well what wallet teh wife lets me have that is)

later
Chuck

I was looking at buying a ballock dagger from Talerwyn just a couple of weeks ago. The one I saw was very nice and well made. I just didnt have the money for it then. Maybe in a couple of months.
