I've been working on some antler combs lately and thought I'd post some of them here. I've also attached a link to a How To photo guide to making combs.

The ones here are Viking era combs:

Here is a link to the How To site: http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/album/560110143RkvwQv?vhost=home-and-garden&track_pagetag=/page/photo/homegarden/hobbiesinterests&track_action=/Owner/BreadCrumb/Album

All comments are welcomed.

Very nice indeed!
How did you make the drill bit to decorate the comb?

Superb work, the top one is almost a straight lift from York, excellent workmanship.

The piece I used to decorate the comb basically looks like a 3 pronged fork. The central spike makes the center hole. The outer 2 prong spikes make the outer circle and keep the whole thing balanced as it spins.

Make sence??

Yes, making dice is what I need one for. My question though is HOW did you make the drill bit. Or did you buy it.
