Greetings
I was wondering what would be the correct weight of linen to use for a quilted jack as well as braies? i have seen 3oz-7oz. And color- bleached white or the natural? In the Embleton books everyone seems to have nice whiet jacks and such. Same question for wool for hose? Thanks

brais are a good 5 oz. the 3 oz is a lil see thru. so if your into that hehehe i'd go with the 5.

my jack is 7.+ oz its makes it really thick and stiff. i suggest over exagerating the curve in teh waist. if not, by the time 24 layers comes you will loose it. trust me

as for wools. a nice medium weight for doublets. fulled

oh and all my stuff is white. if some one ever questions you, jsut say you urine bleeched it yourself.. they'll leave you alone hehehhe
