Hi there.

I am looking to improve my kit.
My portrayal is a south german citizen in the 1460ies.
Now I am not sure whats important for the doublet. right now it has plain arms and is closed with woolen buttons. the hat is black and brown wool with a pilgrim patch attached. the gown is green. its closed with points at the breastline and open at the bottom, held together with the belt.

here are some pics of the kit in action:

i know there are some errors that are in the works: the waistline is to low, the points are too high. this is beeing corrected now.
the knife is not appropriate. a ballock dagger with eating set is in the works.
the livery badge got removed. and i dont wear the belt over the doublet anymore

what else do i have to look for? when i assebled that kit i was not that much into this stuff. now i am looking to correct the failures i have in there.

thanks a lot for your time
regards
-Berny

Hi Berry,

One of the fellows (Martin) on the board is currently in the middle of a move from Germany to Canada. I think he should be getting settled in shortly. He knows quite a bit about South Germany and may be able to give some good feedback.

Cheers,

Jenn
