Hi. I am new to the living history scene. I am putting together an early (1340-50) knight/noble kit and I was wondering if they had any sort of riding boot. Those low poulaines do not look to be very efficient in combat. Thanks.

Hi Charles,
sorry but knights didn't wear boots into combat (other than ambush) but armour. For the 1340s you are looking at armour as depicted in the Romance of Alexander:

I think they were intentionally scanned at this size for the purposes of study. The detail is very high.
