Bob-

FYI-

Jeff has footed hose too, but he likes to wear thin "sokkes" under them. He says they keep his feet from sweating. I believe most of the RedCo. guys do this.

It also has the added advantage of keeping the feet of your hose from getting rancid so quickly. If you're wearing the same hose for a couple of days at an event, the feet can get to smell pretty bad!

My shoes are too tight to allow socks under the hose, although as the leather stretches, this might be an idea before I have to "cinch up" the top seam if they get loose. Do you use cotton or wool?

Gwen,

I found this post and am very interested in the "sokkes" you mention. What are they made of and how are they held up?
