I'm putting together an Anglo-Saxon peasant kit. Does anyone know a good commercial source of pre-industrial agrarian tools?

Hi Buran,

Don't know of a commercial source per say. What I would do is contact somebody at Plimoth Plantation, Williamsburg, Jamestown, or localy for me Strawberry bank. They all have craftsmen on sight that make near any common tool you can imagine to use on sight, and they all sell stuff they make. It won't be cheap, but it will be nice.

What tools are you looking for ? There are few AS farming tools identified if you have information I'd be interested. My AS page (no tools but loads of other stuff) is www.maering.co.uk

PS I also make buckles, brooches, beads etc for the AS & other periods
