Hello all,

I've decided to sell the bulk of my 15th c. calligraphy kit... So here's a "calemard" for sale, e.g. a quill case + attached inkwell. Pic :

The quill case is closed by a lid which "slides" on two leather straps. An inkwell is attached to those straps.
It's made out of veg. tanned leather and black horn (inkwell). It's decorated with brass mounts plus a pewter one on the lid (see detail, bottom left corner). Its design was inspired by several 15th c. sources. Of course, it's completely hand sewn.

I have similar items for sale : a rule, sealing wax authentically reconstructed following original recipes, etc. Would you have questions or would you like further informations, please send me an e-mail.

Oops... Forgot that I couldn't attach files... Just tell me if you're interested then, and I'll send you the pic.
