Hey Folks,

I want to put up my current production schedule in order to let you know where your sword/dagger stands.

AL Arming Sword (shipped)

FL Rapier and Companion Dagger (delivered)

TN Ballock Dagger and Scabbard (shipped)

WI Long Sword (In progress)

WI Rondel Round Handle (In progress)

FL Hand-Half Del Tin Blade (ON HOLD)

FL Rondel Octogon Handle (ON HOLD)

I'll put pictures of the completed pieces in this thread http://www.wolfeargent.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=000368 If I have other blades available I'll let you know.

Thanks,

Db

Hi Folks,

I had to rearrange the schedule a bit and have edited above. Currently I'm finishing a Rapier and companion dagger ca. 16th cent. A little bit late for this forum but I'm including the pics just as a sample of my work. The dagger hilt is forged from bar stock and is twisted and decoratively filed. The Rapier hilt is also bar stock welded and filed into its configuration. I still need to add an "S" curve to it. The handle will be leather covered to match their scabbards and belts.

Here's the next project, a 15th cent. Ballock dagger. The handle is Boxwood. It is only rough shapped and test fitted onto the blade. It'll have a wood core sheath once compleat.

thanks,

Db

Hi Folks,

I just finished the Rapier and dagger combo. They are going to be used for staged combat and do have some acronisms. However, I did try to capture the feel of a mid 16th cent weapon. I will post pictures next week.

I am also arranging to purchase some hand and a half blades for future projects. More on that latter.

Well I'm currently in the process of packing/moving and to boot my router fried. I've already started to work on the next set. Here are some conceptual illustrations.

I'll start up again in mid September after I settle in after the move.

You can change the "Al longsword and rondel " to "Wi longsword and rondel"

I live in Wisconsin now.
