Occasionally they can be found on eBay. I think they tend to run a little small and are facsimile Portuguesa's (Indian rather than Portuguese manufacture).

Key words would be "bull fighting saddle" or "portuguese".

Custom ones tend to be pricey, but the fit would be correct.

Ebay has a few black portuguesas. Problem is that the gullets look a little too narrow, but I don't know what your horse takes.

Ebay Page with Saddle

I think someone in your neck of the woods mentioned a portuguese saddler not too long ago. I will search the other threads.

Ah yes, it was Angelique. This is a link to a saddler in Portugal.

Just go to the Iberian Tack section. They are running about 799 euros.

Alexandra;

(BTW, also my Daughter's name, it's very pretty) here are a couple of vendors who have the high-level Portuguese saddles for sale, as well as some other nice ones (such as the Camargue saddles, which are REALLY cool!). I hope they are of some help to you.

I hope that this isn't too overwhelming, but the vendors look to be reliable, and certainly closer to you than the US vendors.

Good luck!
