PIKES!, where does one find this elusive yet most important of weapons? I searched online but all I could find was pikes for fire brigades. I'd do well to find 18' ash hafts.
If anyone has any iformation on getting them please let me know.

Hi Jason,

Good question. Transport would be problematic, short of a u-haul. Most of us buy poll arm heads seperately, and haft them ourselves. There is a lumber company where Fredrich got 8' square billets - I think you need to find local lumber companies to get the hafts.

For the Pike Heads -

Historic Enterprises
Lutel (if it isn't in the catalog, they can easily make it - our lest order for halberds and glaives was from this source)

One of Bob Hurleys local blacksmith friends might be able to run you some up more convincing than commercialy produced ones, which tend to be more finished than the originals. I would think this last option was best.

16' might be as long as I'd consider going - it was a real length used, and transportaion migh be a tudge easier.
