Jeffrey's armour and Gwen's arming doublet never looked as good as they do in Historic Enterprises tongue in cheek tribute to the Hastings manuscript How a man schall be armyd at his ese when he schal fighte on foote (Hastings MS. [f.122b])

We'll debut this poster at the SCA's Pennsic War event, and add it to our website after September 1. A must for every armour shop, and it makes a great gift for your favorite armour enthusiast.

Who says one can't have a bit of fun with history?

Yeah, a bit.

And before Jeff gets blamed for this I want to say for the record that this was my idea, not his. Of course he didn't object, but the blame for this lies entirely with me.

I suppose this is the year I've had enough of the "serious and fun are mutually exclusive" nonsense. I couldn't think of a better way to break out than to poke fun at a sacred cow, so- MOOOO!!

I can hardly wait till you do a vesion of Rene of Anjou's Book of the Tournament, and the you could follow with the Romance of Alexander and a reworking of the Wenceslaus Bible. I know heaps of re enactors who would buy them, purely for historical research reasons of course.
