A couple of members of my group are lucky enough to be spending some time in Spain in a few weeks (either side of a month in Morocco!!!) They are wondering what are the must-see’s for medieval history junkies in Spain. They will be visiting the Alhambra in Grenada and will be travelling through Madrid but have made no other definite plans. Apart from medieval history generally they have a strong leaning to Moorish culture and art.
Can any of our well travelled and learned correspondents make any suggestions apart from “take me with you!”

You must see the Royal armouries in Madrid, many important pieces are there (including Moorish ones).
