Hello everybody!

I am planning to do a Gambeson/Padded Jack in late 15th century style this year.
I have seen quite a lot of people wearing those padded jacks with the armsleeves completely laced to the jack, but I haven't found clear evidence in paintings, illustrations et cetera for this type of "quick-removable" construction.
All the jacks I have seen until now have the sleeves sewn to the jack, some with a hole in the armpit and/or inside elbow joint, but none so far with the lacing type.
Any help, that is pictorial reference would be much appreciated!
And - since this one is always referred as an example for those laced on sleeves: I know the painting on the St.Ursula shrine by Hans Memling (the soldier with the jack chains). I just don't think that this one shows those laced on arms.
So, any other references?

Greetings,

Wolfgang
