Hi Daniel,

I have a few books in my collection. One specifically deals with German Stoneware. The others deal with archaeologic finds in the UK.

I will dig them out when I get home.

Here are some titles that you might want to look into for your project.

Salisbury & South Wiltshire Museum: MEDIEVAL CATALOGUE PART I* (there are 3 parts)

THE MEDIEVAL POTTERY INDUSTRIES AT STAXTON AND POTTER BROMPTON, EAST YORKSHIRE (Yorkshire Archaeological Journal, Brewster, TCM, Hayfield, Colin -- 34 pages)

MEDIEVAL POTTERY FROM EXCAVATIONS (Evison, Hurst, Dunning; St. Martin's Press, NY NY; 262pp, 1974)

German Stoneware from 1200-1900: Archaeology and Cultural History*; David Gaimster; 430 pages, 1997, (ISBN: 0714105716)

The German stoneware book is excellent for showing the decline in certain pottery industries such as redware.

I will see if I can find the York book when I get home.

Jenn

NOTE: the titles with an * are items that I have.

thank you, thank you. i'm going to try to get these books throught the inter library loan process. i have to finalize the thisis with the proff. i'm kinda leading towards the pottery available in the english market during the last half of the fifteen century, decline and rise and availibility of local vs. imports. could i trouble either of y'all for photocopies of specifics if i can't get one or another of the books? i promise not to ask to photo copy the whole book for me but rather ask if there is something that could advance my arguement.

thank you very much onec more.
